10.0  Rear End - Chassis  Type A/B/C/D/S
 
  • Housing
    • Quick Change Rear Ends allowed...locked only (effective Jan 1 2017)
      (we reserve the right to refuse use of any rear end component with out reason)
      • All Trucks with a  quick change must use a chip-able MSD box
      • Claiming Rule: $2000
        • By any approved team owner or series.
          • Claiming owner must have competed in at least 70% of races in last calendar year.
      • Steel axle tubes only.
      • Quick change must use spool. (Locked rears only)
        • No torque dividing differentials
      • Must have bolt on rear cover.
      • Safety hubs (floater) allowed.
      • Steel solid axles only. No gun drilled.
      • Additional components
        • must be steel with the exception of
          • axle caps
          • one piece drive flange.
      • One inch inspection hole required in housings.
      • No cambered rear ends.
      • Distance from center of rear end housing to the rear hubs left and right must be within one inch in length
    • OEM rear ends must be stock steel
      (we reserve the right to refuse use of any rear end component with out reason)
      • Distance from center of rear end housing to the rear hubs left and right must be within one inch in length.
         
  • OEM Ring and pinions
    • Any readily off the shelf available gears allowed
    • No custom ground or lightened gears
    • C-clip eliminators are optional
    • Welded spider gears or mini spool may be used if the original pin and carrier are maintained.
    • No ratchet, limited slip, torque bias, aluminum spool, or aluminum center sections permitted.
       
  • Axels
    • Full floating rear axle permitted
    • Heavy duty aftermarket axles allowed
    • Steel only
    • May not be gun drilled
       
  • Upper Control Arms
    • Adjustable upper control arms allowed
    • Must mount in stock mounting holes
    • Heim joints allowed
       
  • Lower Control Arms
    • Adjustable lower control arms allowed
    • Must mount in stock mounting holes
    • Heim joints allowed
       
  • Restrictive devices
    • No devices that limit or restrict rear suspension travel are allowed
    • Bump stops not allowed
    • Coil Spring binding not allowed
    • Chains to raise rear end are allowed
      • Must allow frame rail to raise 3 inches before rear tire is raised
         
  • Gear Ratios  (Subject to change as needed)
    • A/B/C/D/S
      • Gear ratios and or Chip rule will be announced track to track.
      • Tracks 3/8 mile or smaller   the final drive cannot exceed 6.25
      • Tracks greater than 3/8mile and less then a mile final drive
        cannot exceed 5.25
